New Patients
In order for us to properly bill your insurance please arrive at your appointment with a current copy of your insurance card /and or medical coupon. Our full service billing department will attempt to bill all insurance carriers including those considered out-of-network.
Payments
The NCC billing department is located on-site and staff is available to answer any questions regarding your account balance or statement either by phone, (360) 734-3174, Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or in person during normal business hours. Some insurance carriers require a co-payment. These payments are due at the time of service. We accept cash, personal check, and Visa, MasterCard, or American Express debit/credit cards.
We are aware of the rising cost of health care and, to alleviate financial concerns as a barrier to receiving care, offer flexible payment plans. These arrangements are made on a case by case basis and require additional information to be submitted to our billing department. If you would like more information on our Patient Assistance Program, please contact our billing department.
In Network Insurance Carriers
North Cascade Cardiology is pleased to announce that we are considered "in-network" with many of the insurance companies that are prevalent in our community. Following is a partial list of these companies:
* Plans in bold red may require a referral or pre-authorization in order for services to be covered. Please contact your plan prior to your appointment by calling the number located on the back of your ID card or, if available, by visiting your plan's website.
Attention: Patients with MegaLife, Healthnet (CA administered), and NASE. Be advised that services performed in North Cascade Cardiology's Cath. Lab may be denied by your insurer. Please contact your plan prior to scheduling.
We are committed to providing cost effective care to all of our patients and continue to contract with new insurance networks. If you do not see your insurance carrier listed above please contact our Credentialing Specialist who will be happy to let you know whether or not we are currently in-network or may be in the future.
Please also keep in mind that some insurance carriers may require a referral or pre-authorization from your primary care provider (PCP) before you are seen by a specialist or undergo certain imaging procedures. Whenever possible, we attempt to ensure that referrals or prior authorizations have been requested or received before you come in for your appointment, but ultimately, it is the patient's responsibility to insure that the referral is in place. If you are uncertain whether or not your plan requires referrals, please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card or contact our Insurance Specialist at (360) 543-9194.
