PADNet

More than 8 million Americans have peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Padnet is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to test for peripheral artery disease.

A PADnet test is a 15-20 minute exam that allows us to measure the blood volume in your lower extremities by using a series of blood pressure readings. PADnet studies help doctors identify the presence, severity and location of the obstructive disease and monitor disease process. This test can provide early detection of Peripheral Arterial Disease when treatment options are the most extensive, incorporating both lifestyle modification and non-invasive and invasive therapeutic options.

There can be two different types of PadNet tests performed at North Cascade Cardiology.  One is resting and the second is a peripheral stress test where the patient is asked to do a low level of exercise on a treadmill.  These simple procedures give fast and accurate results.

Your test is interpreted by a vascular interventional cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of PAD.
