Patient Financial Assistance Program
Patients who have limited income yet do not qualify for state managed health coverage programs are encouraged to contact our billing department to request an application for financial assistance. In keeping with our commitment to our community, North Cascade Cardiology manages its own financial assistance program to ensure patients receive the care they need despite cost concerns. "We have been working closely with the cardiologists at North Cascade Cardiology since early 2004. They have always been responsive to our requests for care for our client referrals. On occasion, they have, in an emergency situation, seen our clients within 24 hours.
Four of our clients, who were unable to get timely care in Canada, received life-saving care from North Cascade Cardiology, and are only alive today because of their decision to leave the Canadian healthcare system and get their procedure in Bellingham.

Indeed, on one memorable occasion, they were able to work out a creative and affordable solution for a client of ours from the prairies, whose resources were very limited.
